Facing my fears
This week in writing we have been learning how to write our own story using a picture that the techer has given us.

Facing My Fears
One glacial, stormy night a I tucked myself into my diminutive cottage at the tip of the one of the tallest mountains. The sound of the creepy creatures outside of my door waiting for me, the wailing of banshees and the howling of wolves sends shivers up my spine to go out to eat me piece by piece. Are they waiting to consume?
That snowy morning when I woke up I ate a delightful, delicious breakfast of pancakes with butter sliding down the syrup, ice-cream with chocolate sauce, hot chocolate with colorful marshmallows and a caramel slice with chocolate sauce. I was dribbling hard out, but it didn’t cheer me up from the sound of the wolves howling and the wailing of banshees, that are still sending shivers up my spine. I knew I had to face my fears once and for all to get out of this terrible nightmare.
I went out at night but I just kept on running inside I knew I couldn’t face my fears so I stayed up all night coming up with an idear of how to overcome my fears. Later that night when I opened up my laptop there was a weird ad that popped up. When I was inspecting it I found something interesting…
In the morning I pack somethings for my trip and headed out very early plus it was very bright so I was blinded by the sun's bright light. When I got into the forest I laid out my tent and tried to put it together but I failed so at that moment I knew it was going to a long, hard night.
In the middle of nowhere, I was lost, tall dimness followed behind me. I came across tall stairs in the middle of nowhere I knew I should but I had this weird feeling telling me yes so I knew then that I had to. I went up the snowy creepy stairs and I found something unforgettable…
I started packing up the things and head to my sweet, lovely home. I know that didn’t work but at least i’m not afraid of the wailing of banshees and the howling of wolves that shivers up my spine because it was just a dream. But are their real banshees?

Tsunami
Plan
One hot sunny Saturday morning three best friends were playing at the beach. Their names were Izzy, Lina and John. Their favorite thing to do together was to play at the beach until one day something bad happened.
It all started at the beach when they met there.
“Hey john!! Hey Lina!!”
“Hi Izzy” said John and Lina
“Sorry I’m late I got caught up in traffic.” said Izzy
“No you didn’t because you are the closest to this beach” said Lina and John
“It’s true!!!! Ok then you caught me!!” said Izzy “I slept in by accident” said Izzy with a sigh
“No more talking Lets just play in the water already!!” shouted John
“Let’s go then!!!” shouted Izzy and Lina. So they went into the water.
While they were playing in the water the waves started to go higher but that didn’t catch their attention all they did was move back to shore a bit. The waves started to get higher and higher and higher but it still didn’t catch their attention because they thought the tide was coming in. This time the wave washed them all the way back to where the rocks were and from there they could see a Tsunami coming so they grabbed their things and went to Izzy’s place to warn her parents and the city to go to higher ground.
When the Tsunami hit the city all the houses got knocked down but the big houses just got pushed and tossed around everywhere. All the citizens survived but the city didn’t even the kids that warned the city survived.
“I’m glad we choses today to go to the beach or else we might have drowned!!” said John
“Thank you for saving us!!!!!!” said the citizen of the city.

Dear Sue Mcgregor
Thank you so much for paying for us to go to the Cloud to welcome back NZ’s Olympians. We really appreciated it, it was really fun and we got to meet famous olympians for the first time.
We got to met Lisa Carrington, Eric Murray, Hamish Bond, Mahe Drysdale, Natalie Rooney and most of all we got their autographs. That day was the best day ever and I couldn't have asked for more.
